First of all, Creative Cigarettes was an idea that was inspired by yours truly. I felt that it invoked fully the idea behind how this blog might have come about. Cigarettes are something that disgust most people, including myself for the majority of my short time lived on Earth. I won't tell you the other places I've lived, not now at least. Irregardless, I have lived a short time here, and there are many things I have come to understand, due in part to my ever-creating mind, as well as my inability to forget about the minute details of every day life, that most would discard, while I take in and find absolutely fascinating.
An example of what to expect in these blogs: Today I saw a sign for what seemed to be a medical establishment, aimed at helping individuals with hearing problems find cheap solutions for their medical needs. The name of their business seemed to be "Cheap Hearing Aids". I thought to myself, "Hmm, I like the proposal that these business men/women are tying to send to their cliental. Cheap, a word suggesting that either their product is imported from a country where children are working in sweatshops, allowing the purchasers a very quality product at an inexpensive rate. Or, they possibly could have meant that the product itself was "cheap", and that although you might not be able to hear everything you would like, at least you'll have a fashionable ear piece. I personally prefer the headpiece that Will I Am was sporting at this year's SuperBowl, but that's a topic for another time. "Hearing" didn't strike me as anything out of the ordinary, however "Aids" did. Nowadays the word "Aids" has found it's way into so many meanings and understandings, that I had to consider the possibility that these people were actually trying to sell something other than devices which stimulate the cochlea. What if they had instead meant that they were selling, for cheap mind you, Aids, as in the immune deficiency type, that could be properly contracted through the ear? Why someone would want to sell this is beyond my knowledge. The opportunity probably wouldn't be taken very often, however I bet there are those "crazies" out there who might consider a slow and painless death, depending on whether they have Obama Care, which almost seems like a slow and painless death, just less enjoyable, to be something not taken lightly, and that these individuals might actually want that. However, that's just ridiculous. Also, I considered the possibility that they were advertising an Aid, or assistant, who would follow you around, wherever you went, and could listen for you. Today's entertainment and education primarily consists of audiences who can appreciate around 20% of what they're listening to anyway. And this handy system would completely dissolve the need to always listen selectively. Let your Aid do the work people, that's what they're paid for! You don't have to listen, even if you could hear in the first place. These ideas tend to roll through my mind all throughout the day, and over the next course of however long, I'll be sharing them with you, and appreciating the comments which will probably consist of either, "Wow, I can't believe I've wasted all of this time reading that" or just, "Wow." Back to the main reason behind this first blog, which if you'll remember was to discuss the blog's name, I can only say that in the duration of my smoking days, I have come to find that relaxing with a cigarette in hand is one of the only ways to fully block the thoughts that crowd the full drawer, files and all, that is my mind. Cigarettes allow me to concentrate on particular thoughts, or allow me to disregard information that I collect which is of no true value. Why "Creative"? Creative is a word in which I would describe how I view the world and topics that tend to arise in conversations I have with most individuals. There are specific individuals who don't find my creative personality appealing. That's okay, because I live my life in very quick minded, quick thinking way. The synapses are connecting people, and it's about time that I decided to sit back, collect my thoughts on all the events that I've partook in, smoke my cigarette to gather my thoughts, and create, which is what I tend to do best.
